A WORD FROM THE TEAM
Every day we count our lucky stars we landed where we did; Bucks County is a magical place full of talented and creative people.
WE are not the scene. We’ve always been in the scene, but now we’re at least on the scene and want to bring it to you. If you’re already here, cool, how’s it going? If you’re somehow not, welcome!
The scene isn’t underground (well, some of it is). Most of it is right there in your face…if ya know where to look: Siren Records, Nomad Supply Co., Round Guys Brewing, Broken Goblet, Dharma Bums, The Tile Works, John & Peter’s, and
many more we’ve yet to discover. These venues, the people behind them, the bands, the organizers, the sound people, are all doing incredible things to bring live music entertainment to our area.
Rivot was born out of the idea of creating a zine just to help hype and support the area and all the amazing artists, musicians, events, and spaces ‘round here. The concept and idea rather quickly morphed into being what you’re looking at right now. If you’re reading this outside the Bucks County area then part of phase one of our goal is happening: to get the word out that bucks county has a happening music scene that’s community-based, supportive, and worth checking out!
Sometimes shows and events get lost in the shuffle of social media posts, flyers don’t make it everywhere, and people space on dates of things. One of our other goals is to be an all-in-one-place source for local shows as well as when our locals play outside the area (Philllly!).
…and now ya know where to look!
The Rivot team would not exist without everyone reading this page.
